Dr. Oetker is working with Transporeon
Food-giant Dr. Oetker, a company founded over 100 years ago in Germany, has been working with the software firm Transporeon GmbH, in order to improve operations.
As a result, Dr. Oetker representatives have decided to invest in their facility in Jánossomorja (Hungary), to digitize logistics processes in the manufacturing center. The German firm has also implemented a digital time-slot management solution, running on the Transporeon platform.
The platform is designed for advanced operations, to support ongoing communication and collaboration with close to 300 suppliers from the local Hungarian market, as well as 16 different export markets.
Dr. Oetker is a German multinational company that makes various food products, including baking powder, cake mixes, frozen pizza and pudding. Headquartered in Germany, the company employs around 30,000 people worldwide. Dr. Oetker is a branch of the Oetker Group.
