Fakt AG invests in a logistics center in Hungary
Germany’s Fakt AG intends to invest a record-sum of 1 billion EUR, in order to extend its horticultural production, processing and logistics services into Hungary’s horticultural industry.
According to Hungarian Agriculture Minister Istvan Nagy, the German company will build the processing units on an area of 330 hectares in the outskirts of Hegyeshalom and Bezenye in northwest Hungary and will create jobs for around 5,000 citizens.
The project includes setting up fish farms and greenhouses, along with cooling containers, a conference hall and accommodations (which will be built at a later stage).
