PCC Intermodal connects Hungary and Austria

PCC Intermodal, a key player on the Polish and international intermodal transport market lauched since the 23rd of June a new intermodal connection on the line Gliwice – Sopron, thus connecting Hungary and Austria with its network.

The companies network connections include marine terminals in Hamburg/Bremerhaven, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Gdańsk, Gdynia and inland terminals in: Kutno, Gliwice, Brzeg Dolny, Dębica, Frankfurt (Oder), Duisburg and Brest and regular rail connections between inland terminals in Kutno, Brzeg Dolny, Gliwice, Dębica, Frankfurt (Oder). Within a radius of 150 km from an inland terminal the company provides transport of cargo directly to the customer’s door.

The PCC Gliwice terminal has a storage capacity of 2.900 TEU, a terminal annual handling capacity of 150.000 TEU and 4 railway tracks of 650 m each, while the Sopron container terminal has a storage capacity of 2.000 TEU, a terminal annual handling capacity of 72.000 TEU, an indoor warehouse of 28.000 sqm and 6 railway tracks.
