A leading provider of logistics solutions, P&O Ferrymasters announced it will expand its activity in Turkey, by opening new offices.
According to company officials, P&O Ferrymasters intends to open five new offices across Turkey, in the next two years. This is part of a complex strategy to expands the company’s pan-European logistics services into Asia.
Besides its base in the country’s economic, cultural and historic center of Istanbul, P&O Ferrymasters will have offices in Ankara, Izmir, Mersin, Bursa and Gaziantep.
Considered an important step in the company’s development, the Freight Management Director at P&O Ferrymasters, Murat Bog said: ‘This expansion will further strengthen our capacity to deliver solutions for customers across both Europe and Asia – the world is getting more complex and we are at our best when we solve the most difficult logistical challenges’.
The company offers freight and intermodal solutions between Europe and Turkey, using land routes, sea connections and railway for transport. In Turkey, the company focuses on the consumer goods, retail and textiles sectors.
P&O Ferrymasters also conducts business through the aid of 20 strategic locations, in 13 countries across Europe. The company is part of P&O Ferries, which carries 8.4 million passengers and 2.3 million freight units per year.
