C.H. Robinson expands tech solutions

One of the largest third-party logistics providers, C.H. Robinson intends to further develop its technologies and global solutions.

Management wishes to recruit more than 100 IT professionals to join the tech team in Warsaw (Poland). Considering the company has a ‘diverse portfolio of customers’, according to the President of C.H. Europe, Jeroen Eijsink, having efficient tech solutions is a key aspect to stay on top.

One of the solutions that C.H. Robinson offers is Navisphere, a global, multi-modal transport management system, with their proprietary platform including products such as Navisphere Vision, Navisphere Carrier and Navisphere Driver. These provide real-time insight and visibility, leading to efficient operations.

The company’s Chief Technology Officer, Mike Neill believes ‘the growth of our technology team is further proof of our dedicated investment in this critically important part of our business moving forward, and our commitment to innovate and provide best-in-class technology solutions and service’.

Some of the key positions of this recent IT department expansion include, but are not limited to: software engineer, IT business analyst, database administrator, IT manager and quality assurance analyst. The new hires should reinforce the position of the company’s IT team across Europe.
