Interroll expands its presence in Romania
Interroll, a world-leading manufacturer of key internal logistics products and solutions, has begun serving the Romanian market directly in Bucharest.
After spending 10 years with distributors as the only representation on the Romanian market, Interoll has appointed, starting March 2017, Ștefan Săpunaru as its Key Account Manager in Romania.This role was previously carried out from the Czech Republic. Săpunaru has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and more than six years of sales experience in Romania and Bulgaria within an international company operating in the electrical and electronics sector. In his new position, Ștefan Săpunaru will cover the sales aspects of the entire range of Interroll products and services.
“Being close to our customers is of great importance to us at Interroll,” Fritz Ratschiller, Sales Manager Eastern Europe, says of the expansion. “We are therefore intensifying our activities in the promising growth sectors automotive—in particular, the tire industry—and e-commerce.”
Interroll Group is actively participating in the growth of the Romanian market by being right in the thick of it. The country is experiencing a phase of relatively high economic growth with the latest figures showing 5,2 percent growth in 2016 as a result of a sharp rise in consumption. Accordingly, analysts are forecasting sustained, dynamic asset investments.
