One of the leading players in locking systems for the automotive industry, WITTE Automotive, went forward with a necessary strategy to increase its production area.
WITTE Automotive Bulgaria almost doubled its production area at the country’s factory, in the city of Ruse. |The company announced this achievement at an official ceremony, with Bulgarian politicians, businesspersons, and institution representatives.
The factory’s importance has been made clear by the company’s Managing Director, Rainer Gölz: ‘WITTE Automotive Bulgaria has become a flagship factory of the entire group. In the last years, we have increasingly industrialized and localized orders here’.
At the moment, the Bulgarian plant has 1,000 employees, but 350 more will be joining, over time, thanks to the new expansion. WITTE Automotive makes around 7 million items every month, which they send to more than 250 destinations and 70 individual customers around the world, such as Audi, Ford, Daimler, BMW, Volvo, and VW.
WITTE Automotive produces tailgates and seat locks, locksets, handles and powered rearview cameras.
