Stokrotka, a famous Polish chain supermarket, headquartered in the country’s ninth largest city of Lublin, just added 11,300 square meters of warehouse space for its operations. The new acquisition is located in the MLP Lublin logistics park, an area that houses several companies with national and international recognition.
After moving into the Lublin logistics park back in 2015, Stokrotka initially leased 6,000 square meters of warehouse and office space. The company continued to add vital areas for operations, reaching 11,900 square meters just before its recent acquisition.
‘Stokrotka has been developing its business, as demonstrated by the doubling of the warehouse space it leases. We are able to meet its demands at MLP Lublin since we have the appropriate land reserve needed to develop new facilities’, according to the head of sales at the MLP Group, Agnieszka Góźdź.
With this deal, Stokrotka now has 23,000 square meters of space to work with. It is estimated that the new warehouse area will be completed by the end of April 2019.
Stokrotka is one of Poland’s expanding chain supermarkets, with around 500 locations nationwide, in housing estates, mini-malls and shopping centers.
